Making NDIS Planning Simple with a Clinical Service Planning (CSP) Appointment at Therapy Connect

NDIS Planning

Navigating the NDIS planning process for your child or family member can feel daunting, but you’re not alone! Many parents and carers find it overwhelming at first. That’s where we come in. At Therapy Connect, we’re here to guide you every step of the way with our Clinical Service Planning (CSP) appointment—a simple and supportive way to get started.

What is a Clinical Service Planning (CSP) Appointment?

A Clinical Service Planning (CSP) appointment is your first step to confidently navigating the NDIS. In this session, you’ll meet with one of our experienced Senior Practitioners, who will take the time to understand your child’s unique needs and help create a clear plan for their therapy journey.

Here’s what happens during the session:

  • We listen. You’ll have the opportunity to share your concerns and priorities.
  • We understand. We’ll gather information about your child’s history, challenges, and goals.
  • We explain. Our Senior Practitioner will break down the NDIS process and answer any questions you have.
  • We plan. Together, we’ll identify therapy goals and recommend the best therapies to help your child thrive.
  • We summarise. You’ll receive a clear summary report covering everything discussed.
  • We match. Based on your child’s goals and needs, we’ll pair them with the therapist who’s the best fit for them. We’re not limited by postcode at Therapy Connect!

Who is the CSP Appointment For?

This appointment is perfect for parents and carers who are new to the NDIS or who need help figuring out the best therapy options for their child. Whether your child needs speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychology, physiotherapy or dietetics, our CSP appointment is designed to make things clear, simple, and personalised for your family.

What to Expect During the CSP Appointment

This session is all about you and your child! Here’s what to expect:

  • 1 to 1.5 hours for a video call
  • 30 minutes to 1 hour to create a thorough, detailed summary report

Here’s what we’ll focus on:

  • Gathering Information: Understanding your child’s or client’s background and identifying their strengths and challenges.
  • Reviewing NDIS Plans: If you already have an NDIS plan, we’ll explore how to make the most of your funding.
  • Setting Goals: Together, we’ll outline achievable therapy goals for your child.
  • Recommendations: We’ll provide tailored advice and connect you with the appropriate therapist or therapists to support your child’s unique journey.

What Happens Next?

After your CSP appointment, you’ll receive a detailed summary report, including all the recommendations and goals discussed during the session.

From there, our Client Services Team will reach out to:

  • Finalise your service agreement.
  • Book therapy appointments that align with your child’s goals.
  • Help you take the next steps with confidence.

Is the CSP Appointment Covered by NDIS?

Yes! The cost of a CSP appointment is $387.98 (depending on location) and can be covered through NDIS funding. If you’re not part of the NDIS, you can still access this service by paying directly.
