At Therapy Connect, we believe everyone should have access to the right tools and support to live safely, independently, and confidently—no matter where they live in Australia. That’s why we proudly deliver Assistive Technology (AT) assessment and prescription entirely online, providing expert support under the NDIS through our online occupational therapy, speech therapy, and psychology teams.

Whether you’re beginning your NDIS journey, supporting a loved one with a disability, or ready to review your current equipment, our experienced Occupational Therapists (OTs) are here to guide you—from your first consultation to AT prescription and post-delivery support.

How AT Works at Therapy Connect

1. Meet Your OT

You’re matched with a dedicated and experienced occupational therapist online, who understands your goals and unique support needs.

2. Initial Online Assessment

We connect via Zoom to understand how you live, your current NDIS plan, and the assistive technology that could improve your independence and safety.

3. Functional Observation

Your OT will observe how you manage everyday tasks and gather measurements if needed (with support from caregivers, friends, or local reps).

4. Research & Recommendations

We research the most suitable assistive technology—ensuring all options are aligned with NDIS criteria, your personal goals, and your living environment.

5. Trials & Training

We coordinate local trials (in-home or showroom) and provide support via Zoom. Your OT ensures you feel confident using your equipment and provides training if needed.

6. Documentation & Submission

Once a suitable item is chosen, your OT prepares the necessary NDIS documentation—support letters, quotes, AT forms—and handles the submission.

7. Follow-Up Support

After your item arrives, we check in to ensure it’s working for you, provide training, and make any adjustments needed.
