Skye is a registered occupational therapist with over 20 years of experience working in a range of public and private settings with people of a variety of ages in Australia, the UK and the US. She is also a mum of two school aged children. Prior to working with Therapy Connect, Skye worked in a private paediatric practice for 8 years, primarily based in kindergartens and schools where she gained experience in working with children and adolescents with a range of physical and neurodevelopmental differences.She is neuro affirming and strengths based in her approach and is passionate about working with children and their families to create goals and plans that are uniquely suited to them to achieve positive outcomes. Skye is friendly and engaging and enjoys coming up with creative and fun ways to get the most out of sessions. She has a particular interest in sensory processing, executive function and emotional regulation.
