Rachel studied occupational therapy at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, and she’s never stopped learning since! She loves working with kids and is passionate about empowering families, helping them understand and support their children so they live happy and meaningful lives. Rachel works with young children and teenagers, helping each one to understand their own unique wiring, their differences, and then supporting them to grow into their strengths.

Rachel has special interests in emotional regulation, anxiety management, and sensory processing. She is studying a 4 year course in Initiatic Art Therapy, and incorporates this into her practice. Encouraging creativity through art and craft, Rachel works to help children express themselves, understand themselves, and grow in confidence.

Rachel has further training and experience in DIR Floortime therapy, the Social Thinking Curriculum, SOS Feeding therapy, creating Sensory Diets for the home and developing Pretend Play skills in children.

On the weekend Rachel enjoys getting out and about with her husband Jordan (who is also an OT!), camping, playing guitar, doing arts and crafts, or yoga.
